PPL Gold Credit Union

OCI prepared the land development and lot line adjustment plans for the PPL Gold Credit Union located in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County.

In 2009, Ott Consulting Inc. (OCI) contracted with PPL Gold Credit Union for the preparation of plans for the 3,066 square foot expansion and conversion of the existing 3,345 square foot bank to a credit union facility. The compact site presented a challenge to facilitate the expanded building footprint on only a 3/4 acre site. OCI provided comprehensive services including surveying, permitting and agency approvals along with site design and the preparation on construction documentation consisting of layout plans, grading, storm drainage, utilities and landscaping.

In addition, the project required the reconfiguration of the existing parking area to accommodate 38 cars, landscaping and site amenities. PPL Gold Credit Union was originally chartered in 1937 and serves the employees of Pennsylvania Power & Light Company, their families and select employer groups.
