Ott Consulting recently entered into a contract with the Borough of Roseto Sewer Authority in Northampton County to provide professional services in support of various activities for the Borough’s sanitary sewer system. We scanned the 54 sheet plan set provided by the Sewer Authority and created pdf files for the Borough’s use. Our survey team will locate each manhole in the sanitary sewer system including the rim and invert elevations. From these surveys, we will prepare an overall system map as well as plans and profiles for each sewer run. The final task covered by this contract includes the set up and maintenance of a GIS plan for the Sewer Authority’s use. Our services include creating a base map showing all parcels in the Borough, ultimately linking exterior inspection forms and photographs to each parcel and creating video clips of “at grade” conditions along each sewer run using a vehicle mounted camera. The GIS plan will be compatible with Arc Reader/Arc Explorer, which are free software packages from ESRI.
